Revenue Leadership and Sales Coaching for Founders

Build a revenue team that performs with efficiency and repeatability—with an experienced leader who is also your partner in growth.

I’m Corey Kleinbauer. I help founders improve sales execution, strengthen their teams, and reduce the business’s dependence on them to move every deal forward.

Start with a focused diagnostic and coaching engagement. Continue with ongoing advice or fractional revenue leadership based on what your business needs.

Find The Right Level Of Support

Diagnostic & Coaching

$2,500 per month I Initial four-week engagement

Best Fit

You have commercial activity underway but need to understand what is limiting performance and where to focus first.

I review how your team sells, examine the pipeline, and coach opportunity owners on active deals. Together, we connect what is happening in customer conversations to your broader growth priorities.

What we work on

  • Review sales calls across past and active opportunities.

  • Assess qualification, deal progression, and pipeline quality.

  • Coach opportunity owners on stronger next steps.

  • Identify the changes most likely to improve sales execution.

  • Align recommendations with your priorities as the founder.

Our working rhythm

  • A weekly pipeline and opportunity review with the participating sales team.

  • Targeted coaching for opportunity owners on selected deals.

  • Weekly review of customer-call recordings, sales metrics, and pipeline movement.

  • A weekly one-hour discussion with the founder or revenue leader to review findings, priorities, and recommended actions.

The participating sellers and opportunities are agreed before we begin. Founder or revenue-leader participation is approximately one hour per week after onboarding.

What you should gain

A clearer understanding of where revenue is being lost, stronger next steps on active deals, and prioritized recommendations you and your team can act on.

We conclude with a discussion of findings, recommendations, and whether continued involvement would be useful. If a second diagnostic month makes sense, we agree on its purpose together. There is no automatic increase or obligation to continue.

Revenue Advisor & Pipeline Coach

$5,000 per month

Best Fit

You have people responsible for leading and executing sales but want experienced, hands-on support to improve their effectiveness.

I work alongside you and your team to strengthen preparation, deal strategy, and execution. I stay close to how opportunities develop, from initial conversations through the buying decision.

What we work on

  • Coach opportunity owners on qualification, buyer alignment, and closing.

  • Prepare for priority customer meetings and improve follow-through.

  • Follow selected opportunities from lead to close.

  • Strengthen deal strategy and forecast judgment.

  • Connect frontline sales execution with your growth priorities.

Our working rhythm

  • A weekly sales-planning and opportunity-strategy session.

  • Targeted preparation and follow-up coaching for priority customer meetings.

  • Ongoing review of sales-call recordings and feedback to opportunity owners.

  • Weekly review of sales metrics, pipeline movement, and deal risks.

  • A one-hour meeting every two weeks with the founder or revenue leader to discuss findings, performance, and strategy.

The initial scope supports preparation for approximately five priority customer meetings per week across the participating team. Team size and coaching coverage are agreed before we begin.

What we aim to improve

Higher win rates, shorter sales cycles, more reliable forecasts, and greater selling effectiveness.

Your existing leaders retain responsibility for seller management, forecast submission, and execution. My role is to help them and their teams perform at a higher level.

Fractional Revenue Leader

Starting at $10,000 per month, plus a revenue-based incentive

Best Fit

You need an experienced operator to lead the agreed commercial function and take responsibility for execution.

I take a direct leadership role, combining frontline involvement with the strategic judgment of a company builder. Decision-making authority, capacity, and accountability are established at the outset.

What I take on

  • Leadership of the agreed commercial function.

  • Seller management, coaching, and development.

  • Hiring within the agreed scope.

  • Sales execution across the full cycle.

  • Revenue forecasting and operating accountability.

  • Direct participation in selected customer meetings and key sales cycles.

Our working rhythm

  • The coaching and deal support described in Revenue Advisor & Pipeline Coach, plus:

  • Regular sales-team check-ins to establish priorities, surface obstacles, and assign next steps.

  • A weekly revenue forecast review with the senior leadership team.

  • Active customer-facing participation in key opportunities.

  • Regular seller management and accountability for agreed actions.

  • Ongoing coordination with the founder on revenue priorities and decisions

Team size, availability, meeting cadence, and customer-facing involvement are agreed before we begin.

What we aim to improve

More consistent execution, stronger revenue performance, clearer accountability, and less dependence on you to manage the sales organization.

How the revenue-based

incentive works

The incentive is typically 5% of the first-year contract value of new customer agreements. Where my role includes growing existing accounts, it also applies to the first-year value of expansion revenue from upsells and add-ons.

The percentage may vary based on average annual contract value and the scope of the engagement. We agree on the rate, eligible revenue, and payment terms before we begin.

Client Results

CLIENT RESULTS
Six consecutive months of revenue growth. More time for the founder.

The business
A software ISV with fewer than 20 employees and $5 million in annual recurring revenue.

The challenge
Revenue growth had stalled, and the founder was managing the sales team alongside running the company.

What I took on
From the first month, I assumed day-to-day sales management, strengthened process discipline and oversight, and coached sellers on active opportunities. I also developed the systems integrator (SI) partner program and community to support partner-led growth.

The outcome
Beginning in the first month of the engagement, total revenue grew month over month for six consecutive months, driven by more new customer wins and increased add-on sales.

The founder gained time back as I took responsibility for leading the sales team.
